If you envy your friends on social media; If you believe that they live a perfect life; If you believe that you can never live up to their standards then you probably do.
Here is the truth though. They don’t have a perfect life. They have problems just like you. They choose to post the perfect pictures of themselves. Don’t lie you do to.
We never see pictures or videos of a husband and wife engaged in a fight. We never see pictures of a kid who is being scolded because they didn’t do their chores quite right. There are no pictures of a toilet that overflowed in the middle of the night.
These are all real life images that social media has no room for because it’s all about perfection. Real life has no place in a world that can’t tolerate imperfection.
Remember, social media is just a tool. Don’t let it be the force that makes you feel like a fool.
